“Dr. Jenn” Columns

Dr. Berman has been writing her “Dr. Jenn” parenting column since February of 2002. It is printed in five magazines: Los Angeles Family Magazine, Santa Clarita Family Magazine, Southbay Family Magazine, Ventura Family Magazine, and Las Vegas Family Magazine. Her column won the 2005 Silver Medal in Parenting and Child Development from the Parenting Publications of America. The judge’s feedback was as follows:

“Authoritative and informative, Dr. Berman shows a wide range of coverage from babies, to teenage social stereotyping. She provides topical discussions such as reading, massage and sign language in one article and in another uses a creative lead that many gen-X'ers (now of the child rearing age) would recognize and be drawn to.”
